A Paris Fulbright Fellow recipient, CHRISTINE LEE  pursues a wide range of creative, musical projects; while her passion is in chamber music, she also devotes her time towards teaching and solo engagements. In the ‘24-’25 season, Christine begins her third year as Artist-in-Residence faculty member at the University of Washington School of Music, where she coordinates and coaches both undergraduate and graduate level chamber ensembles. Most recently, L’arc Trio, a piano trio formed in San Francisco, commissioned a new piece by Vivian Fung, “Ominous Machine,” which received its world premiere at the Bowes Center at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. While at SFCM for the premiere, her trio served a week-long teaching residency there, working and performing alongside the chamber music majors for the chamber series, “Chamber Music Tuesdays.”

Ever the creative and entrepreneur, in 2023 Christine spearheaded a brand-new chamber music series titled “Classical Music Connections” at the National Nordic Museum, curating and performing in a chamber series highlighting Nordic composers and inviting musicians from across the country to participate in these concerts. In addition to a full-time performing schedule, Christine’s interest in utilizing social media in the classical music realm lead her to a year-long role as social media manager of the Seattle-based chamber music series, Emerald City Music, where she was part of the marketing team that helped launch a new streaming platform during the pandemic, Emerald TV.

In 2017, Christine was selected as one of two musical studies Fulbright Fellows to Paris and studied with renowned cellist Michel Strauss. During her studies there, she made her solo debut at the Reid Hall and had the great privilege of performing for over 600 Fulbright Scholars and Nobel Laureates for the 2018 Fulbright Seminar in Berlin.
